More To Say by SwizZz
After breaking up with Funk Volume, the record label he worked on and released a lot of crafts from, one of the more influential new-age rappers is back, this time with some solo work.
With a few other solo tracks behind him already, the most fresh one is “More To Say”. With a pretty laid back beat that isn’t too hard, the majority of the structure is leaning on his vocals and the stream of words.
If you’re familiar with the work SwizZz released while still in Funk Volume, you will notice that this solo sound is much more organic and simply natural sounding than that. His rapping is very expressive and it is easy to tell that there’s a lot of emotion he is exposing in this tune.
SwizZz and his solo work will let you enter his brain bedroom a bit more than before, and open up about things that are more intimate and hard to talk about. He definitely tickles a serious topic that can get to you, and you can easily relate to, talking about the storm of emotions we experience when someone we care about lets us down.”More To Say” is another step in the more individual and serious approach to SwizZz’s creative box.
More of his independent work should also be expected soon, as SwizZz announced a debut album (still untitled) coming up.
